Review of The Lion King 1½ (2004) by Ben C — 31 Mar 2013
Mediocre at best, this midquel is only occasionally funny and is not as original as I thought it would be. Parts of it were pretty good, like where it shows Timon raising Simba as a cub/adolescent, but the majority of it was pretty poor, especially considering the high standard set by the other two Lion King movies.
Not recommended for anyone outside of diehard Timon and Pumbaa fans.
