Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Miles K — 11 Jun 2007
A heartwarming story, because in the end, all you have is family. Um, no... not really. This is akin to a Shakespearean drama about ambition and power, replete with extraordinary dialog and tragicomic characters.
Amazing performances from Hepburn and O'Toole, as well as young Anthony Hopkins, Nigel Terry and Timothy Dalton.
