What a cast eh? Hepburn, Hopkins AND PETER O'TOOLE!! If living the life of a king in this era was half as hard as this movie made it seem I still wouldn't have wanted the job. The word Intrigue only begins to give you the idea of what this movie is about.
Situations in this movie constantly shift as the players stay the same. Hepburn and O'Toole play incredibly complex characters with ease. Its amazing to see these two go at each other as an old and bitter royal couple.
These two are complete equals. A bit heavy at points but at present I can't think of a better historical drama.
