Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Catherine S — 28 Aug 2007
This is my favourite film ever. And that is because it is, without doubt, the finest film ever made. Fantastic dialogue, brilliant performances, cracking locational shots, gorgeous costumes and sets. And Katharine Hepburn.
But frankly, they could be acting in a ditch, wearing nothing but sackcloth, and the dialogue would still crackle.
Fantabulous stuff.
