Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Jane M — 07 Sep 2007
A close second to "Lawrence" for the greatest screenplay of all time. Hepburn and O'Toole come at you like lightning out of a clear sky, bellowing, brawling, conniving and thoroughly entangling both themselves and the audience in their web of court intrigue and lost passion.
O'Toole not winning Best Actor for this film is one of Hollywood's great injustices.
