Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Mike G — 14 Feb 2008
I could watch these two read the phone book! The Oscar winning screenplay gives these great actors and their amazing supporting cast some very tasty dialogue to deliver. Also interesting is the fact that O'Toole is essentially reprising his role as Henry II, a role he originally played in the also great but lesser known film "Becket".
This is not a sequel, but it is interesting to watch O'Toole revisit this character at a much later point in the character's life.
