Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Cassandra — 30 Jul 2008
I first saw this movie back in high school and fell in love with it. Since then, I have watched it over and over again. The dialogue alone, even for those who are NOT history buffs, is worth the watch.
And with actors like Hepburn (who won an academy for this) O'Toole and Hopkins all interacting in family "bliss" you simply cannot go wrong. This movie actually rates in my top 5. Watch it! It's a must.
