Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Benjamin G — 12 Sep 2008
Call me lame, this film has everything one wants in a movie; impeccable screenplay, outstanding performances, political/familial mindgames, and accurate historical context. The back and forth between between Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn are unlike anything I have seen on film.
Your appreciation for it increases with the number of viewings.
