An ok movie about a borderline unethical defense lawyer [who operates out of the trunk of his car] who gets suckered into defending someone is is REALLY guilty---some scenes were VERY intense, Not my favorite movie or vehicle for delivering a movie, but ok.
Ryan Phillipe really shines as the BAD guy. There is no doubt here that he is bad to the bone.
