McConaughy is thoroughly impressive in this courtroom thriller which in my opinion is saying a lot taking into account his usual standard of performance. The licoln lawyer is triumphant with its sharp dialogue and indepth assortment of characters of which fit into the plot flawlessly, not failing to distort and dissmantle any smart Alec viewers intent on predicting the films direction, with its possibility for an array of different climaxes and revelations as the film progresses through each beautifully interconnected chapter, always satisfactory in delivering twist after turn with undeniable prowess, cue great credit to the writers.
