Review of The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) by Richard C — 22 Dec 2012
A rather excitable and intelligent courtroom thriller that not only proclaims Matthew McConaughey's ability to headline very good films (and that seemed like an unlikely cause after Ghosts of Girlfriends Past) but also creates a feeling that nothing appears what it seems, only for the resulting twists to suddenly take us by surprise.
A fine courtroom thriller that never bores and only keeps the viewer intrigued right until the concluding moments, and is an example of how some thrillers that are headlined by A-list actors really can stand out against the majority of lazy thrillers that fail to give the viewer what is deserved that this film especially gives us.
