Review of The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) by Josh S — 13 Jul 2013
Enjoyable alright. But not very intense. A brilliant and slick lawyer should've been able to find unusual technical ways in the courtroom to defeat the enemy, instead he is beaten all ends up and has to take help from his motorcycle friends to get even? Time and again script runs in a direction, but nothing brilliant comes out of it later. McConaughey is good, although the very interesting fact that he works out of his Lincoln car is not cashed properly.
This is not a court room drama. Court scenes are toothless, and irrelevant. Entertaining but disappointing on many many counts. 3/5.
