Its the performance of McConaughey that drives this courtroom thriller. He has fully stepped away from the romcom genre which allows him to fully demonstrate his acting chops; cool, calm, and confident.

Here he plays a lawer who operates out of his Lincoln. When he takes a case with a rich boy convicted of assault a web of corruption ensues. The plot keeps you very intrigued and doesnt go too far off the beaten path to lose you.

Again its the performance of McConaughey that makes this movie first rate.
