Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Richard B — 19 Apr 2010
What a dumb movie. Jim needs to lay off the drugs, or start taking some drugs, something about drugs. I'm gonna kidnap him and make him watch paint dry for a few hours or until I feel we're even. Great cast, I don't know how he got them to do such dumb stuff, it feels like John Hurt and Bill Murray are making cameos in a student film. A bad student film.
It looks great, too bad it's about as boring as the airport in Fort McMurray.
He tries to infuse it with his own personal philosophies but it comes out sounding like a lecture from a new age hippie who has dropped too much acid.
There is no payoff, there is no greater understanding, it sucks from start to credits.
