Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Andrew E — 10 Jun 2009
Jarmusch's "The Limits of Control" is a film that does propose interesting questions regarding reality and fantasy, but at times gets so lost in it's own "unique" tone and style that it fails to address the audience's inquiries.
Most of the cast is wasted, but Isaach De Bankole is engaging enough to have on screen for nearly two hours. If the pacing were better, Jarmusch would have had another indie hit on his hands.
