My friend Dan once remarked about this underrated Soderburgh gem, "I watched it again and I can't fault it." I happen to agree with him. I mean, has there ever been a more perfect union of character and theme song than the use of The Who's 'The Seeker' as Terrence Stamp's impassive face emerges into a widescreen close-up?
