Review of The Limey (1999) by Austen C — 29 Jul 2007
It's more than a quest to find his daughter's killer, Soderbergh addresses memory, narrative structure, and convention by taking a standard plot and making something interesting out of it. Peter Fonda is hilarious, and the performances are good by all.
Soderbergh puts this story through the washing machine and it comes out like it's been at the dry cleaners.
