Review of The Limey (1999) by Aleksei E — 24 Jan 2009
Terence Stamp is so cool in this baroque little revenge thriller from Steven Soderbergh. There's a vengeful-father plot that performs as expected, but the real pleasure is in watching Stamp's Cockney badass square off against Peter Fonda's charming sleaze.
Nice supporting performances, too, from Lesley Ann Warren and the ever-reliable Luis Guzman.
