Review of The Limey (1999) by T P — 20 Sep 2010
Very cool and stylish revenge movie that saves most of the violence for a great ending. Terence Stamp and Peter Fonda do terrific work with lots of subtly and emotion that is left simmering just under the surface.
Soderbergh's decision to shoot this film in a manner that makes the viewer feel as disconnected at times as the main character could get on a lot of people's nerves, but I thought it greatly enhanced the mood and atmosphere of the film.
