I watched both of these movies yesterday. Do I do anything at all besides watch movies you ask? Probably not. And if I do, I can't really think of what that would be. Except that I swear I will be redesigning my domain soon. I'm getting something in the mail this week that will help get me inspired to do that. .

Good movie. Terrence Stamp is really too cool for words. He needs to be in as many films as an actor can possibly be in. The movie has kind of a strange structure. It switched between sets for different parts of the same scene. It took some getting used to but it was an interesting idea. Peter Fonda has never been a favorite of mine and he seemed to be the movie's one really dark spot. But he lived in the coolest looking house with the best pool I've ever seen. Luis Guzman does a great job as usual and I always love the way he can deliver a line that really shouldn't be funny at all but it winds up cracking you the hell up. For example, he and Stamp are standing on Fonda's terrace, looking out at what little of L.A. they could see through the smog. Luis says "You could see the sea from here....if you could see it." I love that. .

Stuck on You.

Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are conjoined twins from Martha's Vineyard. Kinnear has a dream of being an actor in Hollywood. The film in a word? Bizarro. Yes, that's the word I want. I love that they explained the fact that Kinnear is visibly older than Matt Damon and that it was intended to be that way. Apparently Damon's body had most of the liver they shared. Some parts of it were highly entertaining. Very good turns by Cher, Griffin Dunne, and Meryl Streep playing themselves. I'm glad I watched it but it's not a movie that I'll probably ever need to see again. .
