Review of The Limey (1999) by Linda K — 13 Mar 2008
Soderbergh always seems to amaze me! From the quality of his film to the narrative, he knows how to surprise his audience.
THE LIMEY is not at all like the Oceans trilogy, in fact, it is much better. The editing of the film, by playing with past and present events, gives a different aspect to the classical narrative editing. Plus, Terrence Stamp is always great to watch.
If you like OUT OF SIGHT or TRAFFIC, you might also enjoy this film.
