Dear oh dear oh dear...all those lovely settings, clothes and good intentions lead horribly astray by a pretty feeble 'whodunnit' and a Victorian London as envisioned by Hallmark...all golden clouds and soft shadows, perfect make-up and freshly ironed dresses and suits.
Such a pit because with a strong cast lead by Bill Nighy and even a neat twist, it's all so wasted in its slow pacing, plodding direction and leaden script.
