Review of The Limehouse Golem (2016) by Neil B — 24 Sep 2017
Made for TV.
This disappointing dally into Ripperesque London left me wondering why anybody had even bothered to make the film in the first place.
The cast are great and do their very best to make a tiresome script exciting but even the monumental Bill Night could not save this dreary, boring excursion into the dingy and miserable backstreets of Victorian London.
Sorry, but that's where this should have been left, in my opinion, in some long forgotten backstreet, dying a quiet and uneventful death!
