Review of The Light Between Oceans (2016) by Sharon T — 05 Sep 2016
This is a chick flick first and could be a date movie. It is extremely slow and the acting is so subtle, soft and quiet that it lulled me into a 30 minute nap. Fortunately, that is only 20% of the movie since it is 133 minutes long.
You probably would enjoy this simple movie if you had read the book. The story seems to be something that a girl scout counselor would make up sitting around a campfire with 12 year old girls.
