Derek Cianfrance's 'The Light Between Oceans' (2016) is a well acted romance drama that has rich cinematography, yet little else. If you watch films solely for the acting, this film will be fine for you, but if you're like me who watches films to be engrossed by all of their elements, you may feel disappointed.
Personally found the story to be very basic.
