Awesome movie. I know people are entitled to their opinions but other critics making reference to child rape in the movie is not accurate due to the fact that: Under Connecticut law, both males and females who are under the age of sixteen cannot legally consent to sexual relations.

Since the teen was not under 16 it is not considered statutory rape. Awesome love/drama/comedic story, I'd watch it again and again.
