Review of The Life of David Gale (2003) by Kevin S — 13 Mar 2009
From the first few minutes you are taken in by an intriguing plot and great acting but it ended up being a preachy film about the flaws of capital punishment. Unfortunately for the viewer, this message is received very early in the film and therefore ruins its integrity.
Spacey, Linney and Winslet are incredible in their own right - and in this film. I just wish all three were together in some other movie.
