Review of The Life of David Gale (2003) by Hm A — 03 Aug 2009
A political agenda that tries to convey death penalty/capital punishment message but ends up being pretentious and silly. Terrific performance from Spacey and Linney could not save this film. Why did they choose to be in this, I have no idea.
The premise is quite ludicrous and the story contradicts the point it tries to make. "Dead Man Walking" is more effective regarding this issue and far superior movie as a whole.
