Review of The Life of David Gale (2003) by Ang S — 16 Jun 2010
I thought the plot was well thought out. The cast delivered a very believable performance that pulled you further into the story as the plot developed. This is the sort of film that evokes a variety of emotions on such a controversial topic as the death penalty.
Although I do not condone suicide or any type of assisted death, I think it made a valuable point. It potentially causes the audience to ask themselves how often an innocent man is put behind bars or to death just because the evidence appears to be strong. Kudos to everyone involved in such a brilliant movie.
