Review of The Life Before Her Eyes (2007) by Katelyn N — 05 May 2008
I seriously spent three quarters of this movie hating it, feeling the visual metaphors were so heavy-handed that I couldn't take another shot filled with luscious flowers and swimming pools without flinching.
This said the premisse is really fascinating - two friends locked in a bathroom with a Columbine-like killer have to make a life-changing decision. Unfortunetely it's so poorly executed you reach the end of the film tired and too bored to care for these characters.
it's a pity - it could have been brilliant. Still 3 stars for the pondering on guilt and taking consequences.
