Review of The Life Before Her Eyes (2007) by Joe G — 23 Aug 2008

Despite some dazzling visuals, this is an irritating mess of a film that tries way too hard, but ultimately amounts to nothing much. The more I think about it, the more I dislike it. And while the ending puts everything in perspective, it's still pretty easy to predict, and what leads up to it is just plain incoherent, obvious, and poorly executed.

Skip this and watch Elephant instead.
