Review of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) by Jonny B — 08 Dec 2010
This is not even in the same league as Fellini's '8 1/2'. With that said, 'The Life Aqautic with Steve Zissou' is Wes Anderson's '8 1/2'. It's a lot of fun, possibly Bill Murray's greatest dramatic performance, it looks amazing, it's funny, clever.
I don't understand at all why this is so universally hated.
