I'm not sure why I didn't like this the first time I watched it, this time I really enjoyed Wes Anderson's fantasy (or at least I saw it as a fantasy) and really enjoyed the acting.

I've had a day to think about why I didn't think this was half as good as the other Anderson films I've seen. I like the way the camera moved about through the ship, but the rest of the film left me feeling lost. It was as though they were enjoying a joke at my expense, and at times I was bored by it all. Very disappointing.
