Anderson's quirky wit is put to the test with this extremely innovative tale. The outrageous story is perfectly suited to his style and the cast of colorful characters are always entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the incessant cameos of various animals - from pythons to iguanas and killer whales.
Plus, you got Bill Murray great as always holding everything together. Anderson's talent with musical selections is also evident, particularly with the Bowie songs. The imagery, charming FX, and episodes of hilarious mishaps make this easily one of Anderson's best films.
