Unfortunately 'The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou' is Andersons worst film but that being said it's not bad. Just nowhere near as entertaining as his other films or as funny. This humor is very dry to the point where the only few laughs are mostly mild chuckles, and these are due to Willem Dafoe's character (would have liked to see more of him).
The performances are all right but where it fails is somewhere in the middle once the ship is taken over by pirates. It ends up being more stupid than silly but I love all of the Bowie covers and the cast is mostly A-List.
