"The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" is another film by the talented Wes Anderson and features his offbeat and quirky sense of humor with bits of black humor thrown in for good measure. The whole film has a laid back feel to it and while many critics think it's too laid back or reveling in it's own arrogance, I have to say it works for me.

The film is fun and goes wherever it wants to go and is filled to the brim with great and quirky performances from it's amazing cast. Bill Murray steals the film though as his role was specifically written for only him by Wes Anderson who couldn't envision anyone else able to pull it off.

He delivers a touching and heartfelt performance and is truly a remarkable actor and does a great job in Anderson's many film roles he has obtained. If you are a fan of Wes Anderson then you will love this as much as his other works and enjoy it's simplicity and message.

If you aren't used to his work then maybe check out some of his more accessible films such as "Rushmore" and "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" and see if you want to see you more, you probably will!
