Wes Anderson is one of my favorite (modern) directors and it's hard to say that because he is an American Comedy film maker. But, he makes films with such detail, plus his work with Robert D. Yeoman is just impossible not to admire.
Every other film of his has been spot on and going into this, I knew I was in good hands and that it was Anderson's unique vision of how he wanted it to be seen. It's almost to easy to understand why it isn't very big with the critics, with it's thoughts going nowhere and leaving us with odd distractions, but still knowing that it is a Wes Anderson film, and it's up to you to figure out it's true intelligence.
