The Life Aquatic is one of those few movies that gets funnier and deeper each time I watch it. The cast is incredible - what might be a throw away line for thousands of actors are rare jems in the hands of Bill Murray, Willem Defoe or Bud Cort.
The look of the movie is fantastic, Anderson's sets are integral to the story - a film within a film framework that adds resonance to the movie.
