Wes Anderson goes full Wes Anderson with The Life Aquatic. Fortunately long stretches of it work more than not. The visuals are as typically gorgeous as always, and Henry Selick's stop-motion animated sea life is an inspired touch.
If you're not an Anderson fan, though, you will absolutely hate this.
