Review of The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004) by Adam Z — 19 Feb 2008
I recommend this movie, even though I myself didn't care for it. Geoffrey Rush gives it his best, but I never once believed that he was Sellers; the whole time I only saw Rush. As far as supporting performances go, John Lithgow is great as Blake Edwards, ditto for Emily Watson as Sellers' wife.
However, Stanley Tucci is miscast as Stanley Kubrick, and Charlize Theron fails miserably as Britt Eckland.
