Review of The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004) by Jared M — 12 Nov 2008
Geoffery Rush continues to amaze me. I lost a little respect for Sellers along the way, but in a sense, I feel that I can appreciate some of his movies more--"Being There" in particular. Some of the transitions blew my mind, with Rush popping out as various characters in Sellers' life, saying the words Sellers wanted to hear and believe rather than having to face the truth of how he was seen by those he loved.
A sad film, but what bio pic isn't?
