Review of The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) by Nathan H — 15 Jan 2008
My best film, ever. I saw MIchael Powell present the renovated copy in Cambridge a couple of decades ago. He reminded me of my dad and his friends, and then watching the film I decided it was indeed about a character just like Dad.
True gents who stuck to their old ideals. Churchill must have been mad to stop it being shown everywhere.
