Review of The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) by Josh P — 05 Feb 2010
Typical of Pressburger and Powell: all style and no substance. This looks fantastic for the day. There are some really nice shots. The way they introduce the story was probably revolutionary. But do I care about this story at all? Not for a second.
And the humour has dated terribly.
