Obviously made for the TV as it would NEVER make it on a big screen. A good thing too, makes you lower your expectations to a certain degree. Family fun I guess, pretty tacky moments of humour but cute nonetheless.
We actually saw the second one first (Return to King Solomons Mines or something) by chance on cable. Quite a good cast and well, some things you can't be too much of a critic otherwise life would be horribly unatisfactory.
