Review of The Leopard Man (1943) by Jeffrey P — 06 Sep 2009
Tourneur and Lewton transform a run-of-the-mill thriller into a group of characters musing on hidden impulses and fate. A bit predictable, but with a great sense of mood (especially lighting), and skillful tension on a low budget.
