Review of The Leopard (1963) by Byron B — 02 Aug 2008
This film may have invented the "international production" vehicle genre. Everything's dubbed. Sicilians are played by Americans and the French. But it's historically informative and Huston-esque in its treatment of landscape.
That and the writing make it rather better than Gone with the Wind!
