Review of The Leisure Seeker (2018) by Andy G — 29 Apr 2018
Ok, it's not a perfect film and there are a couple of very implausible happenings but in my view it's not as bad as people are saying. I've worked with dementia sufferers for 30 years and have been in an amazing marriage for all of that time.
This film is a very touching portrayal of both. The story develops with a subtle touch which drip feeds you with a history which informs the present, and the acting of course is wonderful. I think maybe much has been missed here and perhaps people have focussed on the clumsy passages which sadly do exist.
