Review of The Leisure Seeker (2018) by Jean-Pol C — 01 May 2018
I'd give this one better than average. Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland both play sympathetic characters on an unlikely journey heading to a likely ending. It was a bit of on the edge watching as Sutherland's Alzheimers character continued to drive the RV and Mirren kept taking her meds with whiskey.
What could possibly go wrong? Both characters trying to live their lives in the present and suffering through remembering and not remembering their past provide the viewer with another way of knowing themselves.
