Review of The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017) by Gunnar C — 26 May 2018
Utterly heartwarming and hilarious for the family. While not as emotionally gripping as the first Lego Movie and the main character's friends were not as compelling or developed, the lead protagonist and villain are excellently performed and written with a great dynamic, and the film as a whole is very sweet and uplifting.
Continuing the themes of fatherhood as with the first two Lego movies, the film centers around a father-son dynamic. Very funny. Jackie Chan is very cute in the film.
