160123: I really enjoyed this film; much more so than most of the kids in the audience. There are many subtle references that will not be caught by children. There are many laughs to be had but, again, it seemed I was laughing a lot more than my son.
Very well thought out story though I anticipated the arrival of the human characters. Because of the story line, the movie couldn't have been done without real people, but I did not appreciate their arrival and I found their presence an intrusion, even if one of them was Will Ferrell.
Fun and made me laugh. Thumbs up overall.
